My name is Mari, and I have been a full-time nanny for 10 years now. I hold a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology specializing in Developmental Psychology. In working with children of all ages,  I’ve had all kinds of situations– some amazingly profound and beautiful, some not so great– that I’ll be sharing with you here.

There are many different techniques to raising children. Over the years I have developed my own theories and best practices while implementing them with the numerous families I have worked for. There are no right or wrong answers to childcare, but a little bit of advice and real life shared experience can go a long way in a new parent’s life. To hear that their problems, frustrations, and worries are shared with others can be a huge relief, helping to level out any parenting insecurities.

Parenting and childcare can be incredibly hard at times, but through discussion and support we can all benefit greatly…I look forward to sharing our thoughts and concerns on this blog!
