With the alarming new report released by Campaign for Safe Cosmetics calling out Johnson and Johnson and their use of cancer causing carcinogens in their products, there is cause for great concern:
“More than two years after leading health and parents’ groups asked Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) to reformulate its flagship baby shampoo to remove a chemical that releases formaldehyde, a known carcinogen, the company is still using the formaldehyde-releasing ingredient in Johnson’s Baby Shampoo in the United States, Canada and China, while making formaldehyde-free versions of the shampoo in several other countries, according to a new analysis conducted by the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics.” Campaign for Safe Cosemetics
Thankfully we have options! Here is a list of the top baby products I recommend for use with the children I care for. I’ve used them over the years and have thoroughly researched them based on: ingredients, rating (0-1) on the Environmental Working Group (a site designed to provide indepth information about the ingredients used in common household products, the sites main goal is to protect consumers health), and affordability. I’ve done all the work, now you can have all the fun!
